Why do you need a copy of my electricity bill?
Your bill shows us how much electricity you actually use, not just an estimate. That’s what lets us design a system sized correctly for your home, rather than guessing. If you can send 12 months of bills that’s ideal, but even a recent one is enough to get started.
Why do you need a photo of my meter box?
Your meter box tells us what’s already installed and whether anything needs upgrading before a solar system can go in. Checking this upfront means no surprises once we’re on-site, and a more accurate quote from the start.
What if I can't easily get to my meter box, or don't have all my bills?
No problem, send what you’ve got. We can usually work from a single recent bill and a quick phone photo of the meter box. If something’s missing, we’ll just follow up and ask.
Why do you ask about my roof?
Every roof is different, orientation, shading, pitch, and roof type all affect how a system performs. A few photos help us recommend the right panel layout without needing an extra site visit just to quote.
Why do you ask about my hot water and heating/cooling?
These are often the biggest users of electricity in a home. Knowing what you’ve got helps us understand your usage pattern and recommend a system that’s actually sized for how you live, not just your current bill.
Why do you ask about future plans, like an EV or battery?
If you’re thinking about an EV, a battery, or expanding down the track, telling us now means we can design a system that’s ready for it, rather than one you outgrow in a year or two.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. We only use the details you provide to prepare your quote, and we don’t share them with third parties.
